Some reports from Iraq were pooled, so BBC, ITN, and Sky correspondents could occasionally be seen on the other channels.
There was some deal on during the war between the major broadcasters for them to share reporters, this mainly being BBC, ITN, Sky and GMTV, as Richard Gaisford (sp?) and John Stapleton were often on other channels or on the main ITV News.

Martyn Lewis went from ITN to BBC in the late 80s.
Julia Somerville went from the Beeb to ITN around the same time.
Simon McCoy recently joined the BBC from Sky.

I don't think he ever got anchor role of News At Ten that was more for Alastair Burnet, but I am sure at some point he must have presented it. Though he was anchor for News At One and Channel 4 News in it's early days.
