Rather coincidental the worm hit three media companies all at the same time.

I was flicking through the channels on my old analogue radio and I came across a station which was reporting that a virus was going to effect a lot of Windows 2000 systems. That was early this afternoon.

It's even effecting Capitol Hill. The virus makers must be celebrating right now! Mad

Oh dear, oh dear. When will they ever learn that prevention is better than cure.

Patch your damn machines!!

And for anyone running Windows 2000/XP reading this here's a link to said patch.

I wonder what other company will be next in the firing line to have all their systems do a crash-reboot cycle?

How funny. No interest in this whatsoever, aside the few people posting. If this had happened to News 24 or Sky you lot would be as excited as a four-year-old child on Christmas Day.
