A great end to the programme with that Weather Forecast.

Great programme. Good mix of serious news and interviews, with tributes and the Boris interview. Subtle Michael Howard appearance has to be up there as well!

Rather misleading. It makes it look like someone messed up the back timing and they crashed out of BBC Newsnight in to the BBC Weather. This was not how it was broadcast at all. It had a proper ending.

Why that choice of music though? Is it a reference to something that I am missing?

But Howard did finally answer the question: he said "yes", which is what Paxo had been after all that time ago through the 12 questions!

I did like the weather forecast. I almost expected a proper one to appear after the skit, but BBC Two just carried on as normal.

Well done for allowing someone to have a fab exit without soppy nostalgic histrionics . . .

Even Paxo looked confused.
