I've been called a lot of things in my time but "fingernail" takes the biscuit.

Oh great, just as the wound was starting to scab over... along comes a fingernail to undo the healing process.....
Could we leave this please, and return to finches and Darwinian thoeires of evolution?

A nice little phrase, though, in a funny sort of way.
I'm just imagining standing in the street and yelling at the woman whose car alarm keeps going off, "You fingernail at the scab of humanity".
Could be quite satisfying.

Are you so intollerant in real life too? Every person on a forum has a personalily, just like in real life. Can't you accept people will have different tollerance levels and be sensitive to certain issues. It's human nature. Just like wanting to ban someone you percieve is picking on you!
How about everyone takes a deep breath and counts to 10 before they post?

Are you suggesting this must be taken into account by all other forum users each time they post? Where is the equality in that? I'm afraid that just as you are entitled to make comments and statement I don't agree with then so should we be.
What is it with aspergers sufferers and the desire to BAN people?

I would VERY STRONGLY suggest that you check up a little of Gavin's background before you DARE to say that, Ana.
You could make yourself EXTREMELY unpopular if you persist with that particular comment.

I know nothing of anyones background here, and post purely as a direct responce to what has been written. Obviously I don't have the facts about the characters here, so I appologise if my initial opinion based on that particular post is inaccurate.
How would I go about checking up on Gavin's background, just for the record? I don't like the thought that I may be unfairly judging someone.

A good start might be posts in other threads in this forum, to get a general flavour of attitude; then perhaps posts on other forums associated with this one.

Well for a start we've been given both the beginners guide to Aspergers before, as well as much fuller descriptions from Kat.

Here's a bit more of an explination about AS;
The treatment of Katherine by some of the members (TVmercia, etc.) is Childish and Immature. Flame bating is something that on the forum I moderate would lead to a Suspension and or PermaBan.
The poeple that are flaimbating just need to grow up!

"They usually have a circumscribed area of interest which usually leaves no space for more age appropriate, common interests. Some examples are cars, trains, door knóbs, hinges, cappucino, meteorology, astronomy or history."
Do you have an interest in door knóbs, Katherine?
(I don't know why the K-word is classed as a rude word. Obviously Mr Hicks cannot spell the proper rude word, which is NOB!
