Paul Hudson moves to ITV

I read it in the local paper, the Sheffield Star, that Paul Hudson is leaving Look North to work for GMG's weather team in Leeds. He says he's sad to leave the LN team but looking forward to new challenges.

Anyone see that coming?!

I've heard that a number of the BBC weather staff have problems with the new style graphics which are coming in.

Presumably he's one of the ones voting with his feet.

If Paul is moving to GMG Leeds, is he replacing anyone, my first thought would be Debbie Lindley, but she is back from maternity.

well ratings are falling for look north are they not - i wonder if the viewers have got bored of the "banter". perhaps this points to a wider shake-up at bbc north, what with helen disappearing in mysterious circumstances and everything.

From what I've heard, they simply don't like the new graphics, to the point that they feel the public won't either.
