Ahh, yes... what about David Cass then? He was a fairly good presenter from what I can remember of him.


I used to bump into David Cass occassionally on flights between Dubai and London. He worked out here for one of the local Arab Channel networks and frequently was a moderator at conferences, etc. Nice fellow.

Did Dermot Murnaghan start out on the overnights as well, or was it C4 Daily as his first foray into national presentation?

Did I mention Phil Roman at ITN?

Dermot Murnaghan was a reporter on Business Daily/The Business Programme originally. In fact, it was as an anchor on the Channel 4 Daily editions of Business Daily that I first remember him. He then presented on the European Business Channel before returning to the Channel 4 Daily as the main anchor.

That's right and then started his role on ITN for ITV presenting the 9.55, 10.55, 11.55, 3.25 summaries. Back then ITN like the BBC would employ someone to present just the summaries. God this takes me back..
