I am confused. Will Newsnight be shown live on BBC Two at 23:00 as scheduled or will it be a repeat of the recorded Newsnight that was shown just now on BBC News?

Snooker has now finished so I guess BBC2 may air the Newsnight special at 10.30.

Asolutely pointless showing Newsnight unless it's 'Live'. It was meant to be at 6 according to Maitlis and a producer's twitter, then 'after snooker', then they ran it on the news channel at 9.30.

Yes, the presenter, crew and all the guests are staying behind and doing the same show again live at 23:00!

10.30pm it is, worth showing in recorded format for those who are expecting it.

I'm sure the UK papers will have fun with their headlines.
