There used to be a section on UKGold's text service called "In Orbit", which discussed satellite TV matters

Ben, Orbit News broadcasts on the Orbit package out of EuroBird 2 on 25.5E. However, the beam is targeted on the Eastern Med, Middle East and North Africa, making UK reception impossible.
Orbit News as a channel only broadcasts American news programmes, and probably doesn't have the relevant rights outside of the main target area anyway. That's not to say another broadcaster in the UK and Ireland couldn't provide the same kind of service, but we will not see it from Orbit News.
