I've started looking in a bit more depth at what's available around the world, in terms of news websites offering pseudo TV operations. Yahoo News Live in the US has invested a lot. The operation looks great, but the company is struggling, so will it last?

In Sweden, Aftonbladet runs a pretty slick web TV channel. It used to be on terrestrial TV but the company decided web-only was the future.

In the UK, the Telegraph and Mail have dabbled in video content, but haven't completely embraced the concept of a 24 hour TV-lite operation. Just wondering what everyone thinks about them? Are they the future?
