Yes, I saw that as well. That tone nearly made me go deaf.
What's up with the Beeb these days?Have they employed a junior school kid to do the production work ?

And on BBC One Scotland, just as the ident cut to Darren, there was a very brief look at some colour bars and a loud tone. Straangee....

The bars and tone were on BBC London output at the top of the One too. Given a) they were the N6 studio bars, and there's no way the gallery would have been putting that out with a second to air.... and b) there was another cock up later in the output, the options are either - it's a coincidence, or the N6 mixer (desk, not person) was on the blink. Or a third option I haven't thought of....

Unless the CBBC studio was meant to be routed somewhere else.... but someone ***ked up. It's not unknown or difficult

Yes i did see this. It was a bit odd. I would imagine it was a pres gallery problem rather than the news gallery. I dont think the news gallery would be able to switch to the CBBC studio with out setting it up purposely, would they?
