It's in a temporary studio built in a large "shed" on the public balcony in front of Red Peppers restaurant; it's rather ugly and in the way of the Mailbox’s doors really so I imagine that a more permanent / long term home would need to be found if the programme returns.
I wonder if it could have gone on the balcony area sometimes used by Midlands Today weather presenters (above Red Peppers), but perhaps the view of the canal isn't as good from there. A permanent glass fronted studio in the arches would be good, although the best position (for the view) would be where Penny Blacks is (which serves some good beers!) – and it could all look a bit “This Morning” when it came from Liverpool!
It would be a pity if they moved it away from the canal backdrop, or from Birmingham though.

What will happen to the 'One Show' studio space while it's off air?
Will 'Politics Show' Midlands use the space instead?
