Please post your views on BBC Parliament.

I think it is an excellent channel and I watch it all the time.

Are there any plans for it to go full size on DTT? I can't cope with the postage stamp sized picture.

Is he happy? Sad?

i know this is a stupid question, but if you bother to read the tv faq you will realise that BBC World isnt allowed to be shown in the UK.

the bbc didnt call it bbc parliament, they just got the licence from the government i think a few years ago (it was formerly called The Parliament Channel), the thing it doesnt cost the bbc too much, its just a channel they have been given the oppertunity to operate the channel, thats all.

I like the graphics on BBC Parliament they are excellent. And the music is cool. Is it library music?

they got lumped with it when it failed commercially. as they are "state broadcaster" so to speak it's their job to pick up the pieces.

No because as somebody has mentioned the BBC have no licence to broadcast WORLD inthe U.K and plus, why would you want a service that has its programs shown on News24 anyway, such as clickonline and fastrack or Hardtalk. Also, what would the BBC broadcast when WORLD goes for commercial breaks...? You'd soon get bored of advertisements for BBC programs. WORLD, in my opinion, is the poor sister of News24, which provides a fantastic international news output.
Also, many people do actually enjoy watching BBC parliament. If you dislike it so much, then don't watch it.
