UKIP only have 9 MEPs who rarely turn up to vote and when they do actually don't vote in the UK's national interest thus if we were going on a Useful MEP basis it would be
UKIP - 0
Green Party - 2

Am I right in thinking UKIP have more support nationwide whereas Green Party support is more concentrated in specific locations, most notably Brighton? It's not an easy situation for broadcasters

Yes they are but UKIP put simply is for many just a protest vote, but as Stewart Lee put it voting UKIP as a protest vote is like "sh*tting your bed in a protest against bad hotel service". If you asked many Green Party supporters they can tell you their party policy but if you ask most UKIP voters party policy other than withdrawing the EU and something about immigration, they won't be able to tell you about getting rid of maternity leave, 31% Income Tax for all, Closure of BBC, Selling off of NHS or painting all trains in classic liveries all of which are actual UKIP policies.

Nigel Farage is as mad as a box of frogs, but he does make good viewing when he appears on the telly.

There have been times I've roared laughing with some of the things he had said.

The important thing is at him or with him...

In theory they should, in theory the Greens should have more coverage than UKIP for Westminster Politics but seeing a Green Party member on TV is a rarity, the BNP are on almost as much as the Greens. I'm not a Green Party supporter but I think it is unfair that they get such disproportionate air time particularly when UKIP constantly spouts his 'Anti-Climate Change' bull every 5 minutes.

Appearances on last 25 editions of Question Time
UKIP - 5
Green Party - 1 (also 1 for Scottish Greens which is an independent party)

Appearances on Question Time in 2013
Nigel Farage - 4
Entire Green Party - 3

Politicians 'Astoned' on last Friday's Newsnight
UKIP - 5
All other parties - 0

MPs
UKIP - 0
Green Party - 1

Considering the last two are largely irrelevant/selective, the first two are concerning a non-BBC News programme, and that your point was that somehow that UKIP are the anti-Green, supposedly banging on about how the environment should be repealed, I'd say that you haven't really proven your point.

Question Time is a BBC News programme hence the BBC News logo in the Opening Titles, it's a Mentorn Media production for BBC News. My point wasn't that UKIP were alternatives to the Green Party it was that UKIP receives disproportionate air time given the number of MPs and actual power they have in this country compared to the Greens.

The BBC News logo is no longer in the titles.

You can't base how a party should be represented based upon the 2010 elections alone. If you know a party's support is growing, then giving them more airtime is the logical thing to do.
