Odd opening titles on Look North

As daft as this tangent might sound, you all have a point. Pennines Today wouldn't suit those on the east coast, and I can't really imagine viewers in King's Lynn are particularly happy receiving a programme for the north, being in Norfolk and on a similar latitude to Norwich, Leicester, Derby/Nottingham and Shrewsbury, places I've never heard anyone refer to as even remotely northern - it sticks out like a sore thumb on the weather map. Its inclusion is the result of them and Hunstanton receiving a stronger signal from Belmont than any Look East transmitter, I believe.

Quite. When you bring 2 programmes together called 'Look North' why call it anything other than 'Look North'?

Surely a mistake or it was only meant for use if several northern regional newsrooms were to be taken out of service by Covid.

Yes, although (admittedly pre Beckley being tagged on) I always thought Coast to Coast wasn't the best name for TVS to use?

Although they could have just run the normal Leeds titles. 99% of viewers wouldn’t have noticed any difference

It did seem like they were partially some emergency covid titles as remember back in March they all thought major programmes would be falling one after another

Quite. Particularly for viewers receiving the Rowridge/Midhurst/Hannington variant of the programme, where the title simply wasn't true. "Coast To Berkshire/Oxfordshire Border" doesn't exactly trip off the tongue, mind...
