A friend of mine is going to New York soon, and will be staying near the Fox News headquarters. I remember seeing members of the public out of the windows during some Fox programmes, waving and so on, so the obvious thing to do would be to encourage her to make a sign saying "Vote Hillary" and hold it up behind one of the presenters and get it on the telly.

So I was wondering if anyone could name any programmes that have a live window backdrop? I'm pretty sure Fox & Friends has a live backdrop, but is there any others?

NBC Today has a live, street level studio in Rockafeller Center in NYC. They are liberal though, so it doesn't really matter. The hosts also go outside to meet with the people live on air.

The today studio isnt that far from Fox News either. But we cant see Today in the UK so probably why they want to send their friend to Fox..

If you succeed, can someone please tape it and post it on here - that'd make my day.

(Fox News presenter reads in a loud voice, totally oblivious to the person waving a sign reading "(HILLARY/OBAMA/OTHER DEMOCRAT'S NAME GOES HERE) FOR PRESIDENT!")
"And those slags at the BBC have been attacking the oil industry, and glorifying the terrorists Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton."

She'd probably get chucked out by security though.

Not the clearest, but this is outside the NBC Today window, not while on air sadly.

And a photo from inside the NBC Experience Store, on the bottom floor of that building.

I think they got some new HD set, so when I was here they deemed it nessasery to add HD to every single sentence Rolling Eyes .

For the record, all of the national breakfast shows have streetside studios, except for CNN. NBC Today is the most famous and is based at Rockerfeller Center. ABC has a two level studio in Times Square, with features in the studio which overlooks the Square. The anchors frequently go streetside to interact. CBS Early Show has a studio at the base of the GM building on 5th Avenue, btwn 58th and 59th Streets. It's righ next to FAO Schwarz and opposite what used to be the Plaza Hotel and the Pulitzer Fountain. You'll also find a HUGE glass structure nearby which is Apple's flagship store. The Fox studios are at the bottom end of the Rockerfeller Center just by Macy's.

Some of Fox News Live is from a streetside set - along with Fox and Friends - so basically any time in the morning is good for getting yourself in the background.

Fox is on 6th Avenue, right behind Rockefeller Plaza (where the Today show is). CNN's American Morning used to come from a streetside studio about 100 yards further down 6th (you could see the ticker on Fox's building in the background) - but they're not there anymore. ABC's Good Morning America is in Times Square, which is about a 2 minute walk east from Fox.
