To start things off, Kasia will be in at 1 for Newsday - according to twitter.

Interesting that the overnight presenter seems to continue through strikes - last time both Naga Munchetty and Alastair Yates did. Is this because they are freelance?

I would assume so because Charlie Stayt did Breakfast on the Saturday last year too and he is freelance. Same with Chris Rogers (who I assume is freelance)

5 Live has pre-recorded output instead of Up All Night again and will cover the Golf from 0900-1930.

Martine has tweeted now that she's off from 12 - so documentary, World simulcast (wishful thinking), pre-recorded bulletin, playback of 2300 hour or 1 extra hour of Kasia is likely.

It's a playback of 2300 hour atm.

Recorded 11pm bulletin with Martine on now (with a 'Recorded' slug in the top left hand corner)

Even the on-screen clock is the same as an hour ago!

Repeat of the 11pm hour - complete with the wrong time on screen! Wink

Newsnight is scheduled to go ahead too. Perhaps the BBC are hoping the strike won't go ahead, or maybe the BBC are being idiotic.

They did the same last time - everything was scheduled as normal.

Are you sure Newsnight wasn't cancelled last time? I think it was, but I could be remembering badly.

I'm surprised the live DOG and clock hasn't yet been overlaid on the 11pm hour that's being repeated.

Does anyone know what BBC World News is up to?
