The News Channel back simulcasting with World from 19:00. A standard BBC News Channel style bulletin, still with Chris Rogers, also being broadcast on BBC Four in place of 'World News Today'.

BBC Yorkshire and BBC East Midlands opted back to some kind of sustaining feed that included a couple of trailers and a rather curious network ident (which then crashed into The One Show mid-sentence).
But what was the sustaining feed? The One Show was already on network BBC One and BBC One HD. It wasn't the BBC News Channel either, as it included a BBC One ident.
Well, that wasn't very professional. In the South West we just crashed into
The One Show,
mid-interview, without so much as a continuity announcement.

Suspect that may have been supplied to the regions involved in advance and they played it out before crashing back. Can't think there was any point in tying up contribution circuits for that.

Interesting also that BBC Lincolnshire have put their own summer show on for the time slot and not taken what Humberside are doing. Is this a sign of things to come?
I think the break is like what used to happen to Soapbox in the old days - Peter Adamson used to take an extended break in the summer.
Both stations using long established names - Carl Wheatley and Les Sheehan. Makes sense I think.
Levy back soon!
Very rare (in recent times) lunchtime appearance from Peter Levy on Look North Hull. His radio show seems to be off air for the Summer

Only caught the end of it but tonight's Newyddion on S4C was reduced to a couple of minutes as most of the BBC One regions were - didn't recognise the presenter but unusually it came from the CSO studio (Wales Today came from the main studio as normal - they usually swap the lighting etc between the two programmes).
S4C filling the remaining 25 minutes with an old, vaguely Eisteddfod-related documentary in 4:3.

Time for a simulcast of World News America on the NC, presented by Rajesh Mirchandani!

The only ever chance we get to see WNA on the NC when there are strikes! I need to get a satellite hooked up, if you know what I mean!

Chris doing the Ten presumably, then who for the night-shift I wonder? Will the work to rule affect this shift and shifts tomorrow at all?
At 9.30 we are in N8 with Chris Rogers.
And now it's time for Hard Talk at 21.33
