Today, the Nuclear Security Summit started in The Hague (NL). 58 leaders of the world are gathering for the biggest conference ever held in The Hague, 3000 journalists from all over the world travelled with them.
This morning, president Obama set foot on Dutch soil, which was covered in a live newscast on Nederland 1 (the main channel, comparable to BBC One). He visited the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and gave a press conference, all was broadcast live. In the evening, the G7 met at the official residence of the Prime Minister in The Hague on Ukraine, that was of course the main news of the night.
