oh well. It made a change to see someone else's news i suppose but i'd love to know what the problem was.

Tyne Tees was fine this evening.

Fiona Armstrong making an appearance presenting a series of special reports next week.

Where you watching it on terrestrial or a freeview box? Because I had it on Sky Channel 103 and I had Granada Reports.

I caught a glimpse of my TV in the lounge and it was NET (on Sky) and on anaglogue which is what I watched throughout had NET too...

John Bevir presented the weekend bulletins, so pherhaps a mix of Tyne Tees & Border correspondents presenting then.

A cock-up, last Wednesday I think, at 6.15 the link-up didn't go to plan. In Tyne Tees the bumper played as normal, and went to the presenters but the Evening News promo wouldn't play (okay it did on the plasma) however in Border they got the Tyne Tees bumper appearing onscreen after theirs did whilst it happened. A minor error but their will no doubt be worse.

Another note: Why call it North East Tonight when items from Dumfries and Carlisle are being covered following 6:15...

I hope Pam and Ian have a day off soon. Then perhaps a return of Tim and Fiona? haha i can dream?

I think there email addresses are stupid- pam&ian@itv.com and pip@itv.com ha! what a joke.

Has anyone seen this? A video inside Border TV, with all the techie stuff in a MTV Cribs styleeee, including playing video games on the project in the studio.

Why do you think those email addresses are stupid?

They're extremely clever IMO. Albeit in an evil ITV plc region destroying way but credit where credit's due.

This is was I think, clever in the sense how it gets around identifying the regional news programme name like it did before the merger, for example net@itv.com etc...

I feel they look unprofessional and I cant see whats wrong with tyneteesandborder@itv.com or their old email addresses.
