I have not been around at lunchtimes, days when ITV has a world cup game at 12.30 has the regional news been jettisoned?

A quick look at an TV schedule should give you an indication. Rolling Eyes

I am not around at lunchtimes to see epg etc, and most tv books just put local news in with regional news..

What difference does that make? You can still see if the news programme has been moved.

Main news yes doesn't say if regional news is on after just lumps it all together as 'itv news'

Anyway found out, surely it is against OFCOM rules to skip it lunchtime? or do they not care.

I'd wager they would argue special circumstances (and let's be fair they'd have a decent case on this occasion) and pledge to make it up elsewhere. If they feel like it.

Hmm... well for 10 mins tonight I didn't see the point for Pam and Ian to come in! Usually the weekend presenter does Friday nights, they could of done 6pm this evening.

Wow a lunchtime bulletin there that was less than a GMTV Bulletin, just because ITV wanted to fit in another ad because of the footy.

Pan-Regional with Ian at the scene of those North East shootings, I am presuming we will have a cut out into opts at the mid-point of the programme.

EDIT: Philippa in the studio.

Completely joint programme tonight - no opts - though the story has now moved within spitting distance of the old Border / Tyne Tees boundary.

could be a busy late bulletin tonight, if it doesn't get cancelled because of network coverage.

I am watching BBC News as the moat news breaks through, Ian Payne is everywhere in shot.

Ian Payne done really well on the late news - Tyne Tees Border seems to be finding its feet at last. And as ever the regional news offering a different perspective and knowledge of the local community the national teams can't match.
