The desk is probably designed for the more diminutive sets in the BBC's range, to make it seem like the national one does from the side. They could've done with an N6 style one instead of the N6-esque one. But definitely not "The Drawing Pin" from TC7 - I do like a lot of rim, but you can go too far.
Horrible desk. Again. It looks like the mini one in N9 during the local/ euro elections - yuck! They'd have been better with the TC7 one - the rim around the edge is just too thin.

The test card in the soft set would indicate so kind of screen with the rest being lightboxes.
The only aspect dating back to 2002 is the desk chair!

I think she is shared with ITV Yorkshire.
On the subject of ITV Yorkshire.. for today's Lunchtime bulletin TT&B Nicked a report broadcast on yesterday's Calendar (featuring Kate Webster Ex-Border) about a woman turned away when in Labour - bit shoddy to have a rehashed story.
Also it was interesting at the end when Ian Payne said "We will be back at 6 o'clock. Lookaround Viewers in the Border Region and North East Tonight for those in Tyne Tees.... have a good afternoon, bye for now"
Good to see a report from Claire Montgomery on ITV Tyne Tees today. I haven't seen her for ages! Thought she'd left.
