Nothing major I was just simply making a point at what different regions do etc... as ive mentioned before even just 3 or 4 years ago it was amazing that u had almost a different person presenting every bulletin!

Meridian viewers (watching via Sky) are apparently watching North East Tonight/Lookaround this evening. Unsure as to which feed they are recieivng.

How very strange. Anybody know why this was the case? I could understand Meridian viewers getting another southern region by mistake, but it seems odd that it was a region handled by the Northern Transmission Centre. Maybe they've been rejigging ITV's DSat transponders?

It is strange coz when Lookaround/NET couldn't be aired on Sky we had Granada. You would have thought Meridian would show Central or west country

I heard it was ITV secretly testing out the next phase of their 'region enhancement' programme which would see the Meridian region merge with Tyne Tees & Border whilst ITV Central joins forces with London and Granada.

Meridian why would they merge with a northern region lol.. unless it is the masterplan full merge of no regional news..... Consiparcy me thinks!!


Anyway on a different note Ian Payne is back tonight his holiday not been as consistent as Pam's!
