Tim presented both Lookaround/North East Tonight's late bulletin on Friday. He is also presenting Tyne Tees & Border News this weekend.

A random correspondent usually does this shift pattern now. Border's John Bevir has also done this a few weeks back, though its mainly Tyne Tees correspondents for obvious reasons.

They may as well have made Helen Pearson redundant, unless she's on holiday or something, a pleasure to have Mark back in her absence. Philippa presenting North East Tonight/Lookaround this week.

I noticed TTTV's Ian Haslam has returned in a News Correspondent role (previously sports correspondent), others also returned, though most reporters now appear once or twice per week, so could the majority be freelance?

A quick question to Border viewers, who was the GMTV bulletins presenter before the merger?

Regarding BBC Look North, does anybody know who could possibly be standing in for Carol Malia when she goes on maternity leave this summer?

Rota Basis with a mixture of reporters, including Gillian Frazer, Jonathan Willoughby, John Bevir Jen Humphies, and later Lee Madan then finally the return of Heather Larcombe for the last few weeks. No regular presenter.

The Carlisle Studios are still being used as tonight they crossed live to the Border Newsroom with John Bevir. I wonder when they will move to their new office.

Have any Border reporters re-appeared, e.g. others not mentioned in media reports of the new reporting team of 6 district, 2 news correspondents?

Kate Fisher and Matthew Taylor seem to be reporting in the Tyne Tees region but are former Border presenters/reporters.

Hi there - I have just joined this after quite an interesting read... My views are mixed on Tyne Tees and Border... Now I can't remember much of Lookaround before 1997... (im 16!) but i want to become a sports journalist and the local news is important to me...

Few things I want to share - I see some videos and caps have been uploaded here, I can offer some links from my youtube page which has a few intros from Lookaround / NET. My recording device isnt the clearest but still highly watchable. As well as that i have added some of the online previews to the programs. Also if you would like you can browse my youtube as I have uploaded some old border tv stuff such as Lookaround 1998, 2001 intro and the last intro in 2004 before generic itv branding. (most of the uploads - thanks to tv ark.)

I don't' think that's ITV Border's Carlisle Studio... It's a different smaller newsroom in Carlisle for the border region... They said on air "Lets cross to our Carlisle news room..."

Ok cool - I just simply thought it had been sold etc...

Its currently up for sale but with the current economic climate it will probably be ages hence why they can remain there.
