I feel they look unprofessional and I cant see whats wrong with tyneteesandborder@itv.com or their old email addresses.

their old emails would be useless as they couldn't plug them both at the end of the show and the one you suggest doesn't do the intended action of tryng to disguise the fact they've shoved together two newsrooms and created an unwieldy region run from the very edge of its terrirotory.

I think there email addresses are stupid- pam&ian@itv.com and pip@itv.com ha! what a joke.

Why do you think those email addresses are stupid? Confused

Fine if you're going for a serious news programme - but this is a local magazine, where colloquialisms and cosiness still exists somewhere in the cold Watermark.

But all the other bulletins apart from the late bulletin are branded as Tyne Tees and Border News? Rolling Eyes

On interesting note, a glimspe of Granada Reports at the end Lookaround tonight - how?

Going by your description I would hazard a guess that the bulletin ended just a fraction too early and transmission briefly switched to the region which would replace it in the event of a breakdown (Granada).

Strange, it happened on North East Tonight too... Laughing

I may have mentioned it before, but it still baffles me why it's called NET, when in the last 10/15 minutes news from Cumbria/Scotland is also featured.

I have noticed you mention it before, perhaps you should drop an email to pam&ian@itv.com about it.

Are you complaining? The majority of the bulletins are filled with Tyne Tees News - Newcastle this, Sunderland that. The worse bulletins are the GMTV ones - hardly any mention of Cumbria and no travel/traffic updates anymore. Its the people in the Border region that are losing out, not Tyne Tees!!

Tim Backshall presenting the late edition of Lookaround (as its now called rather than Border News) for the first time this evening. I presume he also present the late bulletin of NET? Nice to see a familiar face - hopefully Fee may pop up soon! Oh well I can live in hope!
