I noticed North West Tonight headed down to near the Blue Peter Garden to do the second half of tonight's show.
Was it just to make the most of the good weather? I like it when shows decamp outside for that reason, like when GMB used to do it on the South Bank.

Yeah think so, Roger was there first then the female co-presenter joined him a little later, also brought a similar sofa.

He sometimes appears to do a double shift. I listen to Radio Manchester to/from work and once or twice a week he does a segment on both the Breakfast show with Chelsea Norris and the drive time show with that presenter too.
Does Simon King often do the weather for NWT? Feels like it would have to have been pre-recorded quite a few hours before it was broadcast for the 1830 programme and presumably even more in advance for the 2225 programme.

I would think NWT will soon have a replacement for Dianne has her job was advertised about 3 months ago now.

I feel out of all the version of the new regional titles - NWT seems to have the best set and most impressive.
Does anyone know when Eleanor Moritz started doing the Breakfast bulletins for the north west? She must have been doing them for at least a decade by now if not longer - I wasn’t a Breakfast viewer before then.
