Yes, such a shame. About 15 minutes of the show was Goron behind the desk and the last 10 was him standing up against the screen. He was sat on the desk when he was about to opt-out though! He also said he was on holiday in Italy so thats where he was! He must of had about 6 weeks off now. Wonder if he'll work all the way to Christmas now?
I don't think it was as good tonight as there was far less experimenting, I liked how he sat on the desk at the end of the programme, I bet no-one has told him that they've messed around with the presenting styles since he was away.
Though it was good to hear he was in Italy and not being ill.
What would Gordon's job involve? Would he prepare the scripts etc or would they leave that to the journalists? It must be quite a long day if he doesnt get involved with preparing the bulletins.

2. Anabelle tiffin rocks , she is an ex cenral news east presmnter and personlayy does a much better job on the bbc news she should be made the main presenter
Gordon is old boring and turning viewers off granada reports kicks ass now (even i have defuncted to granada even tho i used to hate their news style
3. Anabelle did a great job it was nice to see fresh faces!!!!! think i might e mail nwt and tell them
the sofa and screen looked a bit better and much more experimenatation was good
4.they to change credits to the up beat ones (like look norths and ldn)and give the studio the red chairs and sofas
on the whole nwt is old stale and boring and when gordon is there i switch off afrter 10 mins but with anabelle i wathced every day!!!!
