Kirsten was back last night in a dance studio. I notice that they are easing her in gently and not as a presenter? However, once she does get back on form, I suspect we'll see less of Andrea

Grampian's plans for the coming year. The north/south news bulletin split is still very much on the cards!! No mention (from what I can see) of a new look programme. Perhaps, they'll wait until Jan 2007 when the split takes place?

There will be a new theme tune and the graphics are to change within the next 3 weeks!!

I note from the STV review that a new studio and look is planned for Scotland Today when they move to Pacific Quay later this year........what was the point of changing ST last month when it will have a megga launch in the summer?

Yes Barney...I agree with your thoughts on the ST revamp. What a waste of money. Yet, I think that we were getting the idea it was a mini makeover. I am more relieved at them having another one, as the current set up is definately not of a good standard.

As for the NT revamp...the sooner the better, although, I like the current presenting team though. Norman just needs to smile a bit more!!

New titles - the same as Scotland Today - except the font for 'North Tonight' remains the same.

I think we are definately getting a pick n'mix until the main revamp next year.

That is not to say that Grampian will get a makeover when STV move.

I am sure there will be a revamp of sorts, when the north/south opt out is launched in Jan 2007. I say this as Scotland Today will go west/east at the same time.

I think that the theme tune and titles are far better than the old ones. I think that the Scotland Today font is better than NT's current one. Hopefully they will be tweaked in the future.

I think they could have been better......I do like the wide angle shot at the opening and close......it makes the studio larger somehow!

Agreed! Lets just hope it is a temporary look on both channels. I do like the music though!!

Yep but the theme could have been more of an impact with nice new titles and graphics!

Perhaps all will make sense in January ?
