Ah the set that looked like a spaceship, bizarrely I actually liked watching it, as I felt it was very different to the Calendar set at the time.
Strange isn't it, I didn't think anything of it at the time, looked OK in the 80s. But now...
At the time, I was more annoyed at the fact that Tyne Tees were too cheap to buy in a caption generator that could display the NL logo in colour. Then when they did upgrade, the one they used in Studio 3 for the short bulletins was set to display the red "LIFE" in a yukky green colour for some bizarre reason. Why did such trivial things bug me?
