That's gotta hurt, misspelling the name of one of your most recognised faces from the past. All the more surprising as there are still quite a number of old hands at Tyne Tees, and Kathy worked in the news department after leaving continuity.
I grew up with Kathy on the screen during the 80s, and can remember very well when she was part of the news department, if I remember rightly she used to do the GMTV bulletins, shocking getting her name spelled wrong.
Incidentally, how old will she be now? I'm sure she's in her late 60s...
She did a nice write up about Michael Grade coming to ITV, and the once mighty ITV being ruined for greed. Might still be on the Evening Chronicle website, not sure, but she clearly still takes a keen interest in ITV.

She remarried a few years ago, I think her media daughter is her actual daughter because she did leave TTTV in the late 1980s to spend more time with her family.
