Durham Cathedral, makes a nice change although I dont think you can beat the normal Quayside view.

I think NET must have been pan-regional for the past two days, as we've also been getting Jonathan Morrell on Bilsdale. That would explain the backdrop changing to a view of an area in the Bilsdale/Pontop overlap area.
I guess they must be running just one edition whilst they prepare for the 'relaunch'.

A bigger picture of the new presenter of North East Tonight (North), well makes a change from the last 15 years or so of Pam Royle.

How come TTTV have a new view, which is proffesionally recorded, yet Central West got a new view two weeks ago, an still of poor quality?

Correct...until 4th September, the 1800 isn't split. However lunchtime is...until 4/9 when it won't be anymore

You missed the feature last night, where Carol and the boring sports presenter named all the locations that have been filmed for the opening titles. They do like to mix and match but I just wish they'd get rid of that abortion music at the beginning. It's absolutely dire.

I see BBC NE & Cumbria have changed their opening titles again (only images mind, music remains the same) with a more summery theme!
