Also which bulletins are sub opted for the South of the region?
10.55 (not sure on this one, was this time last year), 12.50, 3.00 and 6.05pm (to 6.15pm) with regionwide bulletins from Newcastle during GMTV and at weekends. Parts of North East Tonight are regionwide, first 2 reports, followed by a 10 min opt, then back to the main programme for the Sportsdesk.
On Friday the South sub opt in North East Tonight is extended to 6.25pm for the Sports report - rejoining Tyne Tees North either for the feature report of for the weather. The evening weather report is sub-regional (but not the Weather village part), apart from when YTV do it.
The late news is from Tyne Tees South.

Andy was reading the late bulletin last night which possibly means he was also on NET South, cant confirm as I get the North edition. He does regularly appear on the late bulletin and occasionally reporting for NET.
Andrew Friend appears very occasionally as a reporter, havent seen him in the studio for a long time, but he does produce NET I think.

He's still behind a desk. Pam Royle does the late bulletin across the region and she presents the southern opt in North East Tonight. She also covers for Mike when he's on holiday-so she is still number 2 at tyne tees.
