The pillars in the corner seem to be different from the other versions of the new set design.

Mind the quality, but here are some pics:

Same as Central's, flat to the screens instead of an actual pillar effect. Presumably due to space in Tyne Tees' studio the desk platform is closer to the rear screens.

Another laptop., this may suggest that the monitor under the desk isn't ready yet or been installed.

Can't spot the Carlisle Courts in the background anymore? Looks a pretty non descript background. But then Carlisle doesn't really have any major landmarks.

It's a shame the regions didn't take the opportunity to refresh the title images at the same time as launching a new set.

Will be interesting to see the Tyne tees background tomorrow. That housing estate backdrop doesn't really work IMHO

TTTV had a different take on the Tyne Bridge, which looked rather impressive.

Background is a bit rubbish on Border but nice to see the fresh studio. Amazing how they have taken what 2 weeks where others are taking over a month!

All the studios are (pretty much) identical which I'm not really a fan of. In my opinion, local news show be a little individual and separate whereas now they all look the same albeit different backgrounds.
