Saw Nicholas Owen presenting on News 24 earlier... When did he join the BBC?

I'd guess March 1st, James, as I'm pretty sure this is his third weekend.

Isn't he a refreshing change from the rest of the stublers and stammerers on there at the moment.

When he hands over to "old red tie" at one o'clock, it's like the world coming to an end.

Nicholas Owen moving to News 24 was announced quite a while ago - certainly last year ISTR. Quite a good move for both him and News 24 I think.

AIUI he's mainly doing weekend shifts.

Indeed Exclamation

It always surprises me how pedantic some people on here can be. Learn to relax a little more...

Talking of being pedantic, can the title of this topic(if it isn't locked!) be renamed 'Nicholas Owen', rather than 'Nick Owen', so not to confuse with the BBC Midlands Today presenter?

Ah that is not pedantic but a rather fine point Westy... of course that is only my opinion Smile
