How much do you think that cost? It will happen the Morning bulletins were get cut to just one!
Newsround will absolutely not get the axe at any point in the foreseeable future. I have no information as to what will or won't happen to specific bulletins. Just stating a fact: Newsround is absolutely not facing the axe.
But by all means wait around for five years and see if I'm correct or not.
Indeed. It's on for much longer and on more days than it ever has for much of its past 30 year history and apparantly it's suffering and facing the axe? Absolute rubbish.
It's the quality that's far more important than the quantity.
As others have said, it was on once a day for decades. It's only since the launch of the CBBC Channel that there have been multiple bulletins. If fewer daily bulletins mean a better service overall, then it's the right thing to do.
I wonder if the slight reduction in the number of bulletins is for operational convenience now they're sharing a studio and gallery with continuity, so it's difficult to do both so many bulletins during times when the continuity is live?
It would be nice if they could give them a fixed 10 minute programme (in a 15 minute slot for continuity - usually a song around it) even if it was just to add a few more stories in brief.
Very poor form that almost a month after the rebrand the website is still sporting the old theme and uninviting layout.
The site really should be at the forefront of the service, helping to ensure Newsround remains relevant. The new on screen image looks well thought out and hits its intended targets - it shouldn't be allowed to be let down by the website.
