Before watching Neighbours tonight, I was watching Newsround Extra in which I found the programme on Ghana really interesting and Ellie the presenter going to Africa to report there and to interview the Prime Minister at Dowing Street. Why is this populor show not on every week these days. In my day, I used to enjoy this programme every Friday every begining of the year (in the days of Juliet Morris and that bloke who does the channel 4 news now). Why did they remove it from it's traditional slot as it's on every few weeks on a Monday now?

I think it's part of a short series of extra's that they are currently running. They've not been doing them for long.

I think its quite poor that they don't report any of the current day's news. Are we to take it that nothing happens on the day that they show this, or that today's youth wouldn't be interested. It should be a seperate program in it's own right.

Newsround extra is has been running on and off for many years now, though used to be on Fridays at 4:55 - 5:10pm (yes I'm going back many years). It produced by Newsround, and is a series of special reports as such, that runs for x number of weeks on a set day which appears to now be Monday.
