Arggghhhh... If she is so high up your list, then WHY can't you spell Nina's surname? But I must admit, good choice with Katie Couric, she's a lovely lady. By the way, why was SLinden banned?

Tony Morris from Granada Reports does that too - he always says Nina Hussein, rather than Hossain.

I don't think I have heard one newsreader, Network or otherwise, pronounce Nina's surname as 'Hossain'.

But in my region, Calendar, Duncan Wood always says Nina Hossain correctly, but his co-anchor, Talbot, ALWAYS says Hussein, seemingly on purpose. By now, listening to Duncan say her name that way, should she not have learnt the pronunciation.. Or is that just Christine Talbot...

Woops, I seem to always spell her name wrong! I'm goin to get it right sooner or later.

Katie, well she is a lovely lady i agree, a very morning type of person, compared to someone like Natasha on Breakfast who IMO isn't that great as a morning presenter. When in New York, Katie was someone who has great banter with Matt, but was always warming to the viewers, great interviewer and able to handle things very well.

When I went on the NBC tour in New York, all the staff were saying how lovely she is. Nice and chatty and very pleasant.

Must check her out - though I probably know her already...

Just going to do a UK five:

1 Peter Sissons
2 Alistair Yates
3 Kirsty Young
4 Nicholas Owen
5 Sir Trevor MacDonald

I note Anna Ford puts a lot of people off which is interesting - myself included...
Likewise Fiona Bruce - professional but too patronising.
