I think a few newsreaders would make good MPs. I began to think about it and thought about the following. Does anyone have any suggestions about who could be an MP, and what party they could be part of?

Bill Turnball - Labour/Conservative
Huw Edwards - Plaid Cmryu
Susan Osman - Conservative
HC
Hatton Cross
Who is Bill Turnball? Confused

That guy Martin Bell who used to report from war zones strikes me as the type of guy who would make a good MP. He should give it a try.

What about Jackie Bird? She would probably be best in Labour maybe? Confused I've got a sneaky suspicion that, she votes for the SNP. Sad

There is of course Austin Mitchell, Labour MP for Great Grimsby that used to present Calendar.

I think Owen Thomas would make a good Tory.
