the news channels have some fantastic, good quality newsreaders but also they do have same, IMO, not as good presenters. Who would you axe?

These are those I'd show the door_

joanna gosling: she is so boring and lacks enthuasism
chris lowe
natasha kaplinsky: i just don't like her, everytime I turn onto Breakfast she has got a face like thunder...smile!! GET MOIRA BACK ON THE SOFA!

katie derham
matthew amroliwala: he just falls apart when a breaking news story comes in, I thought he'd suit a regional news bulletin better. I think he'd be ideal for BBC London News.

Natasha Kaplinksy. Need we go on...

Katie Derham Katie Derham Katie Derham - she is awful: chirpy, too conversational and too informal
She's even making hand gestures now to express herself while reading!
Can ITV sink any lower?

Joyce Ohaja and Nazanine Moshiri. They never seem to read the scripts before going on air(laziness i assume) and stutter and stumble through whichever programme they're doing. Ronke Phillips on London Today should stick to being a reporter. Truly awful when presenting!

Nina Hossain.

Natasha Kaplinsky.

Nik Gowing.

Anyone else with a name beginning with N. (except Nicholas Owen, of course).

I also don't care all that much for Jake Lynch, Martine Croxall or David Eades.

Shihab Rattansi is also someone who I've grown less fond of in recent weeks.

On BBC World I'd give the boot to......

Lucy Hockings, cant stand her, on far to much although I havent seen her on all week!

Kirsty Lang, dont like her, she seems to rude and doesnt care to much for hand overs, just introduces there name and looks at her papers.

Thats pretty much it. Newsreaders who I like most are.
David Eades, Martine Dennis, Anya Sitaram, i'd like to see more of Adrian Finighan and bring back Keshini Navaratnam, and Anita McNaught......

business presenters who should get the boot is. Mark Eddo... want more of Aaron and Darshini and sport id give the boot to Francis Collings.

going regional.. definately Gordon Burns.. good track record but he's on his way out .. voice cracking and generally looks a bit tired.. think they should double head Stuart Flinders and Annabell Tiffin..

Shocked

As far as I'm concerned Katie Derham is one that they should definitely keep!

If ITV wanted Katie to be more formal/less conversational they could use her on the 10:30pm bulletin (or just suggest a change in style), but I guess they feel, as I do, that her current approach suits the Lunchtime News and London Tonight.

I think that Anna Ford and Huw Edwards would be great together on the six.

Glen Goodman Shocked - truly the worst.
Nazanine Moshiri - crap
Owen Thomas - too camp

and...

Trevor McDonald - glued to the autoque, so wooden.

The only two I'd get rid of entirely would be Joanna Gosling and Chris Lowe as they both lack enthusiasm and are IMO boring.

I would however get rid of the following from their current slot:
Philip Hayton (he needs to be on his own - like at the weekend)
Peter Sissons off of N24
Moira Stuart would be great on the Six or Ten but this is unlikely considering she chose the Breakfast job
Sophie Raworth is better suited for the One
Fiona Bruce lacks authority and would be better for the One or weekends (BBC ONE) IMO

It's funny but in my experience the really crap ones are the ones with the biggest egos(with a few exceptions). You should see both Nazanine Moshiri and Joyce Ohaja flouncing around(the latter is the worst) as if they're God's gift to broadcasting. All a bit sad really when they are so poor......
