The number of Scottish senior Labour MPs is particularly interesting when you consider something called the West Lothian question - which basically suggests that they shouldn't be able to decide on policy which affects England because they have their own representation in the Scottish Parliament. Long story, but Google would bring it up. Many many constitutional issues come out of this.
Not to get to much into the politics, but IMO, it doesn't matter what nationality the main politicians are, as long as they are competent politicians, delivering a competent government.
IMO Paxman is, and always has been, one of TV's finest political interviewers. If only a few more interviewers had the courage of their convictions instead of accepting half or non-answers. Plus, politicians always seem to think it's acceptable to question-dodge.
As for "attack dog" - well, that's just hilarious!
