A desk, two chairs, a couple of screens, a nice backdrop, the Bongs and the old News at Ten theme - that's all that's needed.

The rest of these gimmicks will merely serve to limit the New News at Ten's lifespan.........

News at Ten should be gimmick free IMO.

I've always felt though the virtual Big Ben floor as seen in some special reports would work brilliantly as part of the studio though.
