It really would be better suited to the "ITV News" branding. It feels like they've only kept the News at Ten branding to try and convince Mark he's not been sidelined - I bet they've put back the clocks an hour in the ITV newsroom too!

Anyone else finding this much more watchable with Mark and Julie than with Trevor earlier in the week?

Yes, they seem to work well more naturally and aren't just two people stuck behind a desk (well they are, but you get what I mean Razz )

Saying that, Mark looks very smug the way he just sprawled out across the desk, then sat back in his chair as the credits rolled. Its as though he is trying to take control.

I still think it would make more sense having News at Ten on the Friday as well. Ditch Al Murray at 10pm!

I watched it on the first day just to see if Mcdonut was as crap as he always was ... I didn't have to wait too long and then I switched over.
If anyone doesn't know the news of the day by 10pm they're a brain-dead moron.
News at Ten is about as outdated as the red socks of the tosser who re-instated the programme.
Joe Punter has spoke and he has voted with the off button.
I mean ... do you really believe Bill Neely went live from 60 feet under the Antartic ?

Oh, the Late News titles aren't that bad at all. I think they've done about as good a job adapting the NaT opening as anyone could expect for a once-a-week bulletin.

Strange that what we've seen tonight doesn't fit in with what was on MediaGuardian. Perhaps there's been some um and ah-ing over it all - or MG was just plain wrong...

Not really, no. By your bizarre logic you would say: "If you came a respectable second in the ratings, you wouldn't be allowed to transmit the following night."
