They've missed 11pm then - that's why it's not News at Eleven...

Well that was crap - News at Ten titles but cut away before the clockface, which could be seen as a white blob in the distance.

Then straight to the studio with a very dodgy "THE LATE NEWS" graphic.

No, I think that was.

They were terrible - you'd think if they intended to use them every week they'd have come up with something better than that. Surely with CGI graphics it can't be that difficult to create an 11pm version.

If someone in the mock forum came up with that as an idea for the Late News they'd be laughed out of here!

Considering 1 page ago it was thought it was going to just be ITV News, using specially adapted News at Ten graphics is a pleasant surprise

It's also using a mixture of "ITV News" and "The Late News" references, which seems a bit inconsistent.

During the opening, Mark namechecked "ITV News", and the reporter signed off with "ITV News", but the live straps in the top left of the screen say "The Late News".

Reminds me of the days when we had a mixture of "ITN" and "ITV News" references.

No you'd be complaining that they were the worst thing ever to be seen on TV, because Big Ben said 11pm and it was actually 11.03pm

They were badly adapted though.

Seriously, you do get some over reactions on this forum occasionally, but that was truly bad. It was the very fast News at Ten intro animation which was then very quickly faded into the studio just before you see 10pm on the clock tower.
