I assume this will be the one and only week Trevor does all four nights of the News at Ten.

Why on earth would you assume that?

A. It''s Trevor McDonald - he hasn't worked more than a 3-day week since 1986.

Er, not correct.

[B. They've got to keep Mark sweet by giving him at least one News at Ten a week.

Have they?

We've known since all the initial press releases, haven't we, that Trevor will do it Mon - Thurs and that Mark will only present the Friday and weekends?

Steve Scott has just said "Join Mark Austin and Julie Etchingham'' for the Late News.

Aha - a ploy to get more folk watching to see who will present this programme Laughing

I just wish they kept things consistent and had News at Ten.

I wonder if they have made some titles for The Late News ending up at Big Ben showing 11? Or maybe they'll use the titles and set that they use for all other bulletins.

No we haven't - it's been made clear Trevor won';t host four nights a week and Mark will be part of the team.

No we haven't - it's been made clear Trevor won';t host four nights a week and Mark will be part of the team.

Or more to the point, Trevor will do 4 nights a week for the first few weeks but will then drop back alternating with Mark

Whoever printed the story that Mark will do weekends is obviously wrong, he'd end up working 7 days a week

As I said earlier, it is Mark and Julie on the Late News, I seen it on the 'coming up in 15 minutes' promo, they had the NaT backdrop.

NaT branding too. With an XI of course instead of the X
