Yes it was a very 'And Finally' ending wasn't it? Short but sweet.
Still looks like it's on the right track IMO, it was good they managed to get Gordon Brown interviewed, it's the kind of thing they should be doing more often.

"Its loss of dignity was complete" classic!!
Great show. Not enough Etchingham. Good to see Geraint!

Incredibly long delay for the regional news here. Is this an ITV ploy to show the viewing figures are down?
I think that is it's downfall, but tonight they already cut the break after Taggart, it was trailer then straight in, there is no break during the NaT and they have to get the advertising in somewhere.
It's a weakness though, why would viewers want to wait for the regional news ?

There was no break before 10pm tonight
Considering the entire programme including regional news counts towards the ratings, it's a shame they can't go all the way from 10 to 10.35 with no ads. Having said that a long break before and after the news would effect inheritance to/from the rest of the schedule

Regional news starting at 22:28, so the break after will probably be a little longer than yesterdays.

Suprised at Tyne Tees having a correspondent in the newsroom live, it looked a little bit stupid, her sitting infront of a PC monitor with the latest details on the story.
Edit: The presenter Phillipa has just opened a story saying.. ''As you may have heard in the ITN News..'' good to see it used on air more frequently recently.
