I don't like the titles.
But I'm liking the rest of it so far.

Julie looks stunning - her eyes! The colours are really nice and vivid, it's looking lovely...

The opening music does need more oomph. The music after the headlines was much better. The bongs, however, sounded a bit hollow and dainty, they need more weight in them really.

Otherwise, so far so good. The studio and background visuals are great and the opening sequence was absolutely stunning, apart from the 'Subtitles'. I like the dark blue / orange 'Exclusive' box, it looks very smart.

Impressive. Music sounded a bit weedy and lacking strength to me. Graphics , and journalistic content seem good so far though.

End of report - namecheck is sans "ITV News". The orange looks out of place on that exclusive strap, although I suppose that's the point.

Looks amazing but the news content is still pretty tabloidey, ITV's got a Diana 'special' and the Beeb's got a special on Zimbabwe. Quite possibly a spoiler I know but still pretty telling.

Nice to see some single presenter shots - not the ubiquitous 2-shots with the Elstree triangle...

A new take on an old favourite for the titles: a modernisation of the pre-1992 theme music, and a modern take on the 1988-1992 title intro.

Thumbs up. Very Happy

I think the music could have been a bit louder and more in your face, they may change it as time goes on, otherwise it's all good stuff so far

Most people will probably think it is in a seperate studio

Fancy her, do you? Laughing

Only thing that annoys me is that the titles reduce my 45 minute daily commute from Docklands to the South Bank down to just 3 seconds!

Big Ben looks a bit weird too. It looks a bit like an amateur cartoon of the clock - it doesn't quite look right somehow...

The Zimbabwe thing on BBC News has been catapulted in to make them look more "worthy", when in reality on any other night, they'd be leading with Diana too, as does the BBC News website, no mention of Zimbabwe there.
