Julie seems a brilliant anchor to me - I haven't seen her on Sky, only those promos, so that might seem a strange thing to say - but she seems to have a nice personality and obviously she has good experience.

wow - fantastic titles and the studio floor is brill

julie was very good as well

The opening titles felt a little bland compared to the opening sting, the latter having far more strings and oopmh. Nice intro though.

Well that was rather underwhelming - and that bloody subtitles dog!


Random bongs and the fade to the studio just ruin the impact here.


Musics not too great - titles though better than I thought they'd be, but I'd rather see all the bulletins getting something better rather than all the effort on one bulletin.

Always hard to judge a new news programme editorially on its first night as they always have semi-timeless set-pieces - but I wish they'd chosen something other than Diana for tonight's lead.

Julie has slotted in nicely already. It already seems like she has been on ITV for a while ...
