News at Ten - Weeknights on ITV1

Must admit same here but I keep reminding myself it's only the news so I am not left too disappointed lol

I liked te way before The Palace the voiceover said "Join Sir Trevor McDonald for News at Ten, after The Palace"
They forgot poor Julie!

Actually it's half hour to go NOW.

I'm not going to 'get excited' as members have said above, because it could easily be nice graphics, nice music but tabloidy journalism.

Hopefully it will be a different reporting style for NaT

Be actually quite good to see Trevor to do the first one on his own. That a possiblity or has it been confirmed that julie will do the first one with him as well - Might seem like a daft suggestion

I wonder if Mark will make sure Trevor gets stuck in the lift.. so he misses the start of NaT

I hope the News at Ten today isn't heavily orientated towards Sir Trevor. I don't think he's the best newsreader ever - Julie Etchingham in my opinion is of a similar, if not better standard, and I just hope she gets an equal involvement in tonight's programme.

I am sure New At Ten will be good, with dual partnership and a piece of history making a much welcome and needed return.

Roll on the Bongs and welcome the return of a TV Favourite, in just over eight minutes.

From all the build up material - Julie will be at display panels telling folk about statistics and maps etc. I am sure they will want all the techy stuff out on display for all to see tonight.

I also think she was lured to News at Ten to be an equal and not to be the good wee woman who gets the cream scones and earl grey for the knight at half time.

I'm putting the surround sound on. It better be worth while after all this.
