News at Ten - Weeknights on ITV1

David Mannion says that News at Ten will take over from the Evening News as the flagship bulletin:

I'm impressed by everything I've seen so far - it really does look like they've gone to a lot of effort to create a brand new programme.

Like the titles, not so sure about the music.

So its finally been confirmed how it will work.

Mon-Thurs: Julie & Trevor
Fri: Julie & Mark

I wasn't expecting Mark to just be doing one day. I think this kind of confirms that Friday news won't be under the ITV News brand or look.

News at Ten brand surely?

As has been mentioned before, on Friday the news will be at 11pm and will be branded The Late News .

It will be keeping the look though, won't it? Same graphics, just different name.

I highly doubt it. The Late News is meant to have its own distinctive 'weekendy' slant. Think of it like changing from Thames to LWT.

So in other words it's highest rated bulletin will be robbed of resources to fund Grade's pet project!

Is there anyway to view these video clips on the News at Ten website without using the ITV website? My computer does not like Windows Media DRM and will not install it, so I cannot view it through the website. Is there anyway that someone could rip the videos off the ITV website and put them up on somewhere like YouTube?

Just noticed that the clock face in the background, and the X on the logo, bear no relation at all to that of the Clock Tower's clock face...
