News at Ten - Weeknights on ITV1

I have faith in it. When it's at its best, it's in a league of its own. It's just been awful for a long while.

Got to agree with Pad - people have got to give the programme a chance.

I truly believe they will pull the stops out to make this a good programme. It's returning on their terms this time and I think that will make a major difference.

Have to agree, Grade doesn't strike me as a bloke to can it if it does not work - Let it grow and we could have a heck of a battle at 10pm, which will hopefully drive up editorial standards

Next week's Radio Times shows Mark & Julie presenting the Late News on Friday 18 January.

How is it branded in the RT?

"News at Ten" every night?

"The Late News" on Friday?

And on weekends is it "Weekend News", "ITV News" or just "News"? And why do I care?

Also, did they do a feature on News at Ten's return in the magazine?

News at Ten Mon-Thu, just ITV News at 11 on Friday.

Yes, there's a very small feature about NaT on page 49. Just a picture of Trevor and about 100 words. Nothing we don't know already.

Yes and the Late News on Friday is also 40mins long (inc weather, regional news)

Interestingly the online version brands it as 'The Late News'.

Well TV listings have always listed the News at 10.30 as just 'ITV News'. It doesn't really mean anything.

The News at Ten advert was shown at 7.30 tonight, At the end we heard the music, it sounded like the old music used in 1992, or its based on it, very orchestral and authoritive.
