Interesting there not using the ITV font, the one they've went for does look far more authoritive though. Thinking back to the thread which carried a picture of supposed titles, it looks like it was real, seeing the background of the studio now - they were practically the same. Also, they apparently spent £250,000 on the titles so they should be impressive, I doubt the current ones were that much Laughing


I think it is the font, only with a squished W. It is rather small and low quality to judge though...

it is hard to tell there... The ends of the N for example seem slightly curved, as is one of the main noticeable features of the typeface, but why alter the W and the middle stem of the E...

With News at Ten back Mondays to Thursdays what time will the Friday late bulletin be at? 11:00pm?

Does this mean the whole of ITV1 News will get a new look on Monday 14th January 2007?

Probably, but I think myself the Lunchtime and Evening News won't be updated till the Tuesday, so that the "new look" launches with News at Ten.


And it's the 11pm "Late News" on Friday. Weekend News remains quite random - 11.45pm on the Saturday!

Probably James Mates, though they could con Mark into hosting it due to losing his nightly role.


I'm expecting it'll be hosted by just one person rather than two.


I wonder too if we might see Trevor and Mark hosting News at Ten together - after all they're rolling back the years and News at Ten historically was usually presented by two fellas.
